Anish Kapoor – Mirrors and Spaces

Today I went to the Anish Kapoor exhibition at the MCA. A striking collection, some large scale sculptures taking up whole room each.

The works that I found more memorable where the reality distorting mirrors, creating kaleidoscopic patterns from the surroundings and the light. Also the creation of negative spaces in his installations, windows into darkness. His work evokes the metaphysical themes, the finite and the infinite.

All ideas for me to pursue in my own projects this year
